Bicycle Trips Europa 2014

These are some pictures from my most recent trip to Europe in the early fall of 2014. I was in Freburg im Breisgau 6 days, 3 days in Berlin, 3 says in Vlieland Island, Netherlands, 5 days in London and finally 3 days in Wetzlar, a little town where Goethe spent one summer getting material for "the Sorrows of Young Werther". It is a beautiful medieval city on the Lahn river.

I did a very similar journey in 2016 and unfortunately, I did not take my camera but here is a written dialogue of that trip.

Here is one of the absolute highlights of my visit. My great Aunt (grandmother's first cousin) Suzanne Coombes. She is 94 and am so glad she is still around. Her mind is really sharp. She speaks at least 3 languages (German, English, French). I got to learn a lot about the family history. Including reading her younger brother's autobiography, who was Paul Hansard. He is famous for the pupet show in 1955 called Johnny and Flonnie that preceded the muppets. He also had a very small part in the "Guns of Navarone".

I will have future pics here for more travelouges in the future.
